This easy turkey bacon wrap is perfect for lunch or a quick supper! With just 6 simple ingredients this easy wrap recipe takes less than 5 minutes to make, and is sure to be a hit with the whole family, not to mention it makes a great lunch for packing to work or school!
Wraps are one of my favorite lunches to make, they are quick and easy and you can toss in pretty much whatever you have on hand at the moment. I love making veggie wraps, chicken salad wraps, and of course these easy turkey wraps!
This wrap is actually a copycat recipe from a small local coffee shop I used to work at, the turkey bacon wrap was one of my favorite things on the menu, and I enjoyed eating it often during my shifts there.
When I quit working there I knew I was going to miss quite a few things I used to make, and since I couldn’t justify driving a half hour every day just to buy lunch. I decided to start recreating some of my favorite items at home!
And these wraps were at the top of my list. I spent a few days playing around with different ways to make them and eating far too many wraps.
But I’m happy to say I finally did manage to recreate not only a wrap as good as the ones I used to get at work but one that was even better!
This recipe is fast and easy to make, can easily be made the day before, and is great for packing to work, school, or any time you need a fast and filling on-the-go meal!
How to Make A Turkey Bacon Wrap
Ingredients
- spinach tortillas/wraps. You can also use regular flour tortillas or whole wheat tortillas, you can even use a large lettuce leaf, to make lettuce wraps! Just be sure to use a large tortilla/wrap
- deli turkey lunch meat or your favorite kind of turkey lunch meat
- crispy bacon
- Romain lettuce
- ripe tomato, sliced
- sliced cheddar cheese, or your favorite kind of cheese!
- real mayo, or ranch dressing. You can also make these wraps with cream cheese, hummus, or any of your favorite dressings
Other add-ins
- bell peppers
- red onion
- avocado
- Swiss cheese
- baby spinach
- any of your favorite fresh veggies
- Dijon mustard
- honey mustard sauce
Directions
Place your tortilla on a clean flat surface, add the mayo, and spread out evenly in the middle of the tortilla.
Next add the lettuce, and a few slices of tomato, followed by 2-3 slices of bacon. Place the lunch meat on top, I like to use 5-6 pieces of turkey depending on how thick it is, but you can use as much as you like!
Place 2 slices of cheese on top of the meat, and fold one half of the tortilla over the filling, gently pull the filling back, then fold in the sides of the tortilla, and roll it up tightly. Cut your finished wrap in half and enjoy!
Recipe Notes
Here are some of the variations of this wrap I like to make! I love adding extra bacon and using ranch dressing instead of mayo, to create a bacon ranch turkey wrap. (also called a turkey club wrap) I also love to add creamy avocado or even guacamole to turkey bacon avocado wraps!
These wraps can easily be made ahead of time, and any leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days!
