Equipment

  • 6 8-oz mason jars with lids You can also make these, in bowls, containers, cups, etc. So long as they are in an airtight container or tightly wrapped they should be fine.

Ingredients

  • 32 oz vanilla yogurt Or whatever kind of yogurt you prefer
  • 2-3 cups frozen berries of choice, such as raspberries, blueberries, and mixed berries You can also use fresh berries if you like
  • 1 cup granola homemade or store-bought

Instructions

  • Make sure your jars are clean and dry, and have lids.
  • Divide the yogurt into six jars. You'll have roughly 2/3 cups or 5 oz per jar. More or less depending on the amount and thickness of the yogurt.
  • *Fill the remaining space in the jar with the berries of your choice. My personal favorite is raspberries
  • Place the lids on the jars and place the yogurt ups in the fridge. You'll want to let them sit at least overnight before eating.
  • Top with your favorite granola and enjoy!

Notes

You can find my homemade granola recipe HERE

*If you are using frozen berries, you can fill the jars as full as possible, just be sure you can still screw the lids on. If you are using fresh berries, you'll want to add slightly less. The frozen berries will melt as they thew and take up less space, unlike fresh ones.

Yogurt cups are best eaten within 2-3 days, but I've definitely kept them for longer. They are still good and taste great when kept for even a week.

You can add the granola the night before(just be sure to save some room in the jar) but if you don't want to end up with soggy granola. I would recommend just sprinkling it on in the morning before you head out the door. You can also pre-pack your granola in little containers to save time in the morning.
