I know I’ve said it before—things like “this is my new favorite recipe” or “this might just be the best-tasting thing I’ve ever made”—but I can honestly say this recipe takes the cake. This is, in fact and in all seriousness, the best-tasting thing I’ve ever made.
I don’t know if it’s the perfect spicy kick, the bouncy noodles, or the to-die-for sauce, but this recipe is addictive in all the best ways. I’ve made it four times already since I finished developing the recipe, and I’m going to make another batch of noodles today so I can make it again.
These easy spicy beef noodles are sure to be a hit with the whole family and can easily be made as spicy or mild as you like.

They take less than 30 minutes to make (unless you’re making homemade pasta, of course), and they’re perfect for packing for lunch or a quick supper on the go. Not to mention, they’re equally delicious served both hot and cold.
And frankly, I don’t feel I need to say anything more about this recipe—it kind of speaks for itself. But I can honestly say this is the best-tasting recipe I’ve ever made, and I’m super happy to be sharing it here with you!

How To Make Spicy Beef Noodles
Ingredients:
- Ground beef
- Noodles of choice — I love using homemade pasta for this recipe, but ramen noodles, rice noodles, lo mein noodles, wheat noodles, or any type of long pasta work great!
- Chopped cabbage (you can also use bean sprouts or even a pre-chopped coleslaw mix)
- Green onions, sliced (plus more for topping)
- Garlic, minced
- Ground ginger
- Fried chili in oil OR chili oil
- Hoisin sauce
- Soy sauce
- Lime juice
- White pepper
- Sesame seeds (for topping)

Directions:
Cook your noodles according to the package instructions, then drain and rinse under cold water. Set aside until ready to use.
In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until it is completely cooked through. Then drain off any excess grease.
While the beef is cooking, combine the remaining ingredients (except the sesame seeds) in a small bowl and whisk to combine. Set aside.
Once the beef is cooked and drained, add the cooked pasta to the pan and reduce the heat to low. Toss the pasta gently until the beef is combined and the noodles are hot.
Pour the sauce over the noodles and toss until they are completely coated. Remove from the heat and top with a sprinkle of sesame seeds and sliced green onions.
Serve immediately and enjoy!

Recipe Notes
Any leftover spicy beef noodles can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 5 days. These noodles can easily be reheated on the stovetop, but are also delicious served cold.
I usually use a 1/2 batch of homemade pasta for this recipe, which serves about two people. The exact amount and weight of the pasta you use for this recipe will depend on the type of pasta you use.

If you’d like to make a milder version of this recipe, feel free to cut the amount of chili oil in half—or skip it altogether! You can also add any of your favorite stir-fry vegetables to this recipe. Chopped white onion, peas, and bell peppers would all be delicious. Just be sure to cook your vegetables before adding the pasta and sauce!
