- 1 cup real mayo homemade is best, you can use store-bought mayo as well.
- 2 tbsp lemon juice about 1 lemon juiced
- 3 tsp hot sauce I like Frank’s
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp sea salt
- 1/2 tsp oregano
- 1/2 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
- 1 pinch cayenne pepper
Combine all the ingredients in a medium bowl, and whisk until smooth.
Taste and adjust the seasoning if needed.
Transfer the finished aioli to a glass jar or airtight container and place in the fridge until ready to use. Or serve immediately.
Enjoy!
Cajun aioli can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 7 days!
If you would like you can use Cajun seasoning, or cerol seasoning in place of the spices listed above.
If you want to make this aioli extra spicy, I would recommend doubling the hot sauce and red pepper flakes!
