I’m not really a big fan of birthday cake-flavored things, or actual birthday cake for that matter. But my little sister (little as in 21) happens to be a huge fan of all things birthday cake-related and anything that is topped with sprinkles.
And since I was already checking a few birthday cake-flavored recipe suggestions off my list of things to try, I figured I might as well give these birthday shots a try, too.

These creamy shots honestly couldn’t be easier to make; you need just 2 ingredients, plus a garnish. They are fun, colorful, and a delicious way to wish anyone a happy birthday!
This birthday cake shot recipe is perfect for your next birthday party, dinner party, game night, girls’ night, and pretty much everything in between.
With their creamy texture and cake flavor, they are sure to be a hit, plus they can be whipped up in a matter of seconds, making them perfect for even the busiest of occasions!

How To Make Birthday Cake Shots
Makes 2 shots
To Make These Shots, you’ll need
- shot glasses. I love using these plastic shot glasses for parties!
- cocktail shaker
Ingreidents
- whip cream vodka, you can also use vanilla vodka or birthday cake vodka if you can find it.
- white chocolate liqueur, I used a white chocolate Irish cream.
- ice, for mixing
- whipped cream, for topping the shots, optional, but highly recommended
- rainbow sprinkles, optional, but highly recommended

Directions
Place your ice, vodka, and white chocolate liqueur in your cocktail shaker, cover, and shake roughly for a couple of seconds.
Pour into two shot glasses, top with a dollop of whipped cream, and a sprinkle of rainbow sprinkles.
Serve immediately and enjoy!

Recipe Notes
Like most shots, these birthday cake shots are quite strong. Please remember to drink responsibly, and personally, I wouldn’t recommend serving more than 2 per person.
If you aren’t a fan of whipped cream, you can rim your shot glasses with vanilla frosting and roll them in sprinkles to garnish instead!
You should be able to find both whip cream vodka and white chocolate liqueur at your local grocery or liquor store. But if you are having trouble finding one or both, you can order both online.

I usually use spray can whipped cream for making these shots, as it is just easier and faster, but you can also use homemade whipped cream.
Here is my quick and easy homemade whipped cream recipe: combine 1 cup heavy cream, 2 tbsp powdered sugar, and 3 tsp vanilla extract in a large bowl. Beat using an electric mixer at high speed until stiff peaks form. Enjoy!
